When the Tampa Bay Buccaneers hired Greg Schiano to be their new head coach in January, they were looking to install a new culture at One Buc Palace. After a disappointing 2011 finish in which the Bucs lost their last 10 games, the new regime is looking to create a culture of discipline and physicality.
Well, we’re a little over two weeks into the 2012 baseball season and the Tampa Bay Rays are right where they should be. After 15 games the Boys in Blue are 8-7. While some Rays’ fans might not be too excited about the mediocre start, getting out of April with a .500 record will be a success in my book.
